BTW, did you know that VT (VPI at the time) was scheduled to be one of the founding members, along w/Wake and Clemson, of the ACC. That is until the Clemson football coach, Frank Howard, got pissed at VPI and "blackballed" us.

He was ticked b/c VPI said something about Clemson going to a post season bowl which was against the Southern Conference rules at the time.. Kinda petty to get pissed b/c someone said you broke the rules which Clemson did.

Wake doesn't seem to care much about being competitive which is the reason VT (and a lot of other ACC schools) are questioning WFU.
